ACCESSIBILITY COMMITMENT
We welcome people living with disability to enjoy our facilities.
We want everyone who visits Bluewater Leisure Centre to feel welcome and find their visit rewarding and fulfilling.
Our facility is designed to give people with a disability or mobility-related issues greater access to aquatic, fitness and recreation facilities.
At Bluewater we have;

Ramp entry access to main pools

Accessible change rooms and toilets

Accessible (Disabled) car parking at front of building and in car parks

Drop off/ Pick up point located at front of building

Swimming lessons with Access and Inclusion qualified teachers

Multi-use warm water pool with ramp access for gentle rehabilitation and exercise

25 metre pool with ramp access for lap swimming

Wheelchair accessible to all parts of the facility

Accessible change rooms with height adjustable adult change table

Automatic hoists located in accessible bathrooms

Accessible gym equipment, including Upperbody Krank Cycle
Sensory Quiet Time
We also offer a Sensory Quiet Time
Every Saturday 1:00pm - 3:00pm
